Message Ok now Im really confused, I had planned on going for 2 ARC sidemount intercoolers as I had heard they are the best possible sidemount available, they will be used in conjunction with 2 HKS GT-RS turbos and produce over 400 rwkW in our DIN figure (about 650-700) of your SAE HP), ive heard from people here that there to their knowledge there are Z's running 700 HP no problems on these IC's, now here comes the problem..

According to THIS Post, (which is by the owner of Uniqueautosports here in Aus), the ARC sidemounts were hitting 40 deg C on a 26 degree ambient day, even while the front was off with fans and water spraying them, according to him the usual temperature with a FMIC on similar powered Z, is only 5 degrees above ambient, anyway I dont explain it the best, read the post.

I was sure I would use those IC's however according to this post, they now seem like a bad option and the FMIC is now looking like the way to go, I will have much more power than the Z's being used here in testing, which can only mean more heat, could there be some reason that John pellington has overlooked as to why the temps are so high? Having the ARC sides brought into the country will cost over $3000 so I dont want to make any mistakes in choice :/
